The local weather

The Charente is the second summiest area of France. The summers are usually long and hot with spring starting a month earlier and Winter a month later than the UK April and May will have some wet days but the temperatures can get into the 20’s . July and August will probably be into the 30’s cooling back into the 20’s during  September and October. Expect some frost in November but the days can still be pleasantly warm.
